Senior Technical Manager is required in a Multinational PMC company located in Cairo.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all technical disciplines, including Architectural, Structural, and MEP, from concept to construction.
- Review and validate design drawings, specifications, and technical submissions to ensure full compliance with project requirements, local regulations, and international standards.
- Oversee the review and approval of shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements to maintain strict quality standards.
- Provide hands-on technical support during construction to resolve complex site issues and ensure works align with approved designs.
- Act as the primary technical liaison coordinating between client, consultants, contractors, and authorities on all engineering matters.
- Identify value engineering opportunities that optimize costs without compromising quality or functionality.
- Maintain meticulous technical documentation, design logs, and change records while preparing reports for management and clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering A Master’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field is a strong plus.
- Minimum 12+ years of progressive experience in engineering, design management, and construction technical oversight, with a strong focus on hotel/hospitality renovation or large-scale commercial fit-out projects.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is a must.
- Deep, hands-on expertise in MEP, structural, and architectural systems.
- Proven track record in design management, shop drawing review, and on-site technical problem-solving.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills to bridge diverse project teams.
