Road/Infrastructure Manager is required for a multinational PMC company located in Cairo
Responsibilities:
- Review and approve infrastructure design drawings, hydrological studies, traffic impact assessments, and utility shop drawings.
- Ensure that the road and utility layouts are perfectly aligned with the project master plan and architectural requirements.
- Lead the liaison with local utility providers and government authorities to secure necessary permits and connections for permanent and temporary services.
- Oversee on-site testing (soil compaction, pressure tests for pipes, asphalt quality) and ensure all work meet health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical clashes between underground utilities and structural foundations or MEP services.
- Monitor the performance of infrastructure subcontractors, ensuring work is executed within budget and according to the approved schedule.
- Manage the overall design and construction management of road networks, bridges, and underground utilities structure.
- Ensure all infrastructure works comply with international standards (AASHTO, etc.), local transport authority regulations, and project-specific technical.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- 10~15 years of professional experience in infrastructure and road construction management for large-scale urban or mixed-use developments.
- Deep knowledge of road geometry, pavement design, and underground utility network systems.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of hydrology and stormwater management systems.
- Strong negotiation skills for authority liaison and excellent leadership to manage large-scale site operations.
