Senior Technical Manager is required for a multinational PMC company Located in Cairo.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, validate, and manage construction technical strategies aligned with the overall project execution plan and method statements for each work trade.
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive inter-contractor construction plan and method statements.
- Oversee seamless construction progress by proactively addressing and resolving all technical issues arising during execution.
- Review contractor method statements and work programs to ensure alignment with approved construction methodologies.
- Develop and implement mitigation and acceleration technical strategies to recover lost time and prevent delays.
- Work closely with construction managers, contractors, and planners to ensure all technical matters are properly addressed.
- Manage the technical evaluation of bids in collaboration with the design team and quantity surveyors.
- Proactively identify, resolve, and track potential technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate all construction-related technical issues between contractors, consultants, and the client.
- Lead and conduct regular technical meetings with contractors and construction managers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction and engineering sector.
- Proven experience in PM/CM roles and/or construction site operations.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Project, and procurement management systems such as Aconex, SAP, or Oracle.
