“Design Control Manager” is required for a multinational consultation company located in Cairo.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage design and engineering teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Develop, implement, and maintain design control processes, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
- Manage the design lifecycle from concept to production, overseeing design reviews, documentation, risk management, and change control.
- Conduct internal audits, track non-compliance, manage corrective actions, and support quality investigations.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and senior leadership to align designs with strategy, budgets, and customer expectations.
- Prepare and review design control documentation for regulatory filings, generate executive reports, and maintain quality records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in design management/control for large-scale projects.
- Proven experience in PM/CM/consultancy environments.
- Experience with multi-package procurement and construction interfaces.
- Experience on large mixed-use or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Strong reporting, documentation, and communication skills (English proficiency is a must).
- Familiarity with design management systems and document control processes.
- Experience with FIDIC-based PM/CM projects.
