Structural Design Manager is required for a multinational consultation engineering company located in Cairo
Responsibilities:
- Oversee conceptual, schematic, and detailed Design engineering designs.
- Validate load calculations and engineering models & analysis for consultant’s structure design and proposal.
- Review authority submissions and sustainable design strategies.
- Propose alternative solution and Value Engineering (V.E)
- Review the consultant structural design and calculation
- Monitoring and supervision of the consultant structure works
- Reporting on the structure, design, quality and progress
- Attending technical meeting and lead the structure subject & issues
- Preparation of Minutes of Meeting (MOM) for any structure meeting
- Review and comments on contractor’s submission(dwg,rfi,material,etc.._)
- Supervise work quality of contractors and subcontractors.
- Ensure successful testing, commissioning, and project handovers.
- Approve defect resolution and accurate as-built documentation.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and design checkers.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (PE-recognized qualifications preferred).
- Min. 15~20 years’ experience for structure design in Egypt and overseas.
- Professional knowledge for the RC, Steel, Post-Tension structure system.
- Well knowledge of International & Egypt code and practices.
- Ensure compliance with Professional Engineers Act in Egypt.
- Any certificate of Structural committee/or associates.
- Proven experience in building, underground, industrial, or infrastructure design. Skilled in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, STAADPro, SAFE, ETABS, Orion, and TSD.
- Familiar with ACC and submission processes.
