A multinational company located in Sheraton is hiring a Field Technician


Job Functions, Responsibilities & Authorities:
  • Prepare, sign and submit pigging, daily, express and other relevant reports
  • Discuss equipment and tools requirements including auxiliaries, AGM's, DGPS, magnets, launching trays, spares, tool box and all other required tools for use in the field, etc.
  • Study and analyze project information document, operation manuals, pigging procedures and other project-related documents
  • Establish professional contact with client’s field personnel creating friendly working relations
  • Execute field work in a safe, effective and efficient manner in accordance with the company's QA/QC procedures and in line with time, resource and financial planning
  • Coordinate field activities between the company's team, subcontractor, client and other involved parties
  • Perform ILI runs successfully without data loss as per POF & API standards
  • Conduct sufficient cleaning runs to the established the company's cleaning criteria
  • Conduct site survey and DGPs Survey in line with the company's procedures and operational requirement
  • Execute all other tasks as requested by Team Leader within the assigned job role.

Skills/Experience:
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant) plus 3 years of operation planning experience
  • Experience in Oil and Gas sector, preferably with ILI exposure
  • Computer skills in Microsoft word, excel and outlook at an intermediate level
  • Fluency in English, the language of the Territory is an advantage
  • Ability to travel extensively
