Technical Mechanical Engineer is required for a multinational consultation engineering company
Responsibilities:
- Interpret construction drawings, contract documents, and specifications.
- Review and approve MEP shop drawings and BIM models (clash detection, LOD).
- Ensure designs meet client requirements, codes (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, Elevators), and project standards.
- Coordinate with structural, architectural, and electrical disciplines to resolve conflicts.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
- Verify site work against approved documents and solve technical issues locally.
- Evaluate contractor proposals and monitor work progress.
- Prepare project reports, attend meetings, and communicate with stakeholders.
- Manage handover documentation (O&M Manuals, Warranties, Asset Registers).
- Ensure compliance with quality standards (QA/QC) and safety regulations (EHS).
- Track documentation and follow-up on approvals (Autodesk Construction Cloud).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, etc.).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM (preferred).
- Minimum 10 years’ experience with large-scale construction projects (residential/commercial).
- Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
