Technical Civil Engineer is required for a multinational consultation engineering company
Responsibilities:
- Managing all technical documentation, such as drawings, specifications, Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and change orders. This involves reviewing them for technical accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Assisting project managers in developing and monitoring project schedules and timelines, particularly ensuring technical tasks and material deliveries align with the overall plan.
- Providing technical advice to site teams, ensuring work complies with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards (QA/QC).
- Supporting cost analysis activities, monitoring project expenditures, assisting with budget forecasting, and reviewing invoices and payment applications from contractors and vendors.
- Identifying potential design or construction issues early and working to resolve conflicts and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays.
- Preparing project updates, progress reports, and presentations for management and clients, often by running and producing minutes for coordination meetings.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in project coordination or engineering, preferably within the construction industry and project management/ construction management.
- Proficiency in PMIS software (e.g., Autocad Cloud Construction, Aconex, etc), CAD software, and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
