A multinational company located in Sheraton is hiring a Polyurethane Technician


Job Desciption:
  • Molding Polyurethane (Manual & Machine) using different molds as per Design drawings.
  • Able to handle PU Dispenser machine, trouble shooting and maintaining stock for Machine spare parts.
  • Adequate knowledge of Auto Cad to draw templates.
  • Setting up and operates various casting machines to cast polyurethane products
  • Maintain and secure raw material Stocks for minimum three month production.
  • Lay outs, shapes and assembles patterns of Polyurethane and other materials from blueprints, models or templates
  • Comply always and fully with the company's IT requirements
  • Be quality conscious (dynamic approach towards quality improvement and aim at getting things right first time)
  • Maintain confidentiality, integrity and safeguard the company's trade secrets
  • Respect and support fellow employees at all times
  • Respond to changes positively (technical advancements as well as organizational adaptations)
  • Assure timely and accurate reporting to Tool Management Department
  • Identify training requirements
  • Promotes a team environment within the department. Co-Operates with all departments in resolving issues related to PU jobs. Responsible for timely hand over of PU to QC.
  • To perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Qualifications:
  • High school with Diploma Chemical (Preferred) or Chemical Engineer isrequired
  • Should have 2-3 years of experience in molding Polyurethane.
  • Three years related experience and training to handle 3-component Dispenser machine or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language. Ability to effectively interpret and translate instructions to other employees in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations. Should be capable of mass balance calculations for material control.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
