A multinational company located in 6th of October is hiring a System & Network Administrator


Requested knowledge & skills:
Knowledge:
  • Deep knowledge in Microsoft Products (Windows server, Office, SharePoint, projects, Exchange Server, SQL…) is a must
  • (Microsoft products certification is a plus).
  • Cisco Products Knowledge including VOICE is a must (certification is a plus)
  • Network solutions, knowledge of different concepts (DHCP, DNS,…)
  • From 3 to 5 years of practical experience.
Skills:

Other:
  • Bachelor degree in computer science/IT (or relevant)
  • Very good English language in both written and spoken language.
Main responsibilities:
  • Providing technical support to the end users by troubleshooting the various IT issues in respond of the requests via the ticketing tool in addition to requesting feedback form the users in order to facilitate the business operations.
  • Maintaining the network and systems infrastructure performance via the different tools (screens, reports and manual checks) and implement corrective actions to assure smooth systems operations.
  • Administrating the local IT systems by implementing the configurations, diagnosing problems and installation and maximizing the benefits of the systems features to achieve best utilization of the resources.
  • Implementing the new IT projects and testing new technologies from technical point of view by coordinating with the external service providers in order to upgrade the current tools and apply new technologies.
  • Managing the outsourcing teams in all of the IT areas (servers, network, IP phones, ..) by requesting the service and assign tasks, providing support and follow up in order to assure providing acceptable level of service.
  • Managing the inventory for all the IT equipment by regular follow up and updated reports in order to determine the new needs and provide recommendations.
