Export Sales Manager is required for a well-known FMCG company located in Cairo
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute export strategy for confectionery products.
- Identify and open new markets and distributors.
- Achieve export targets (Volume / Value / Profitability).
- Manage and lead the Export Sales team, ensuring proper task allocation, follow-up, and performance monitoring.
- Evaluate team performance and implement development actions to improve productivity and achieve sales targets.
- Lead pricing strategy while maintaining competitive positioning.
- Ensure product compliance with international standards.
- Participate in international exhibitions (Gulfood / ISM / Anuga).
- Track market trends and competitor activities.
- Optimize product portfolio based on market demand.
Requirements:
- 5–10 years in Export Sales (FMCG – Confectionery is a must).
- Proven experience in handling confectionery distribution channels.
- Proven experience in managing, leading, and developing sales teams.
- Strong background in international markets (GCC / Africa preferred).
- Experience in managing distributors and key accounts.
- Solid understanding of product shelf life, storage conditions, and logistics constraints.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, LC, and export documentation.
- Experience in international exhibitions (ISM, Gulfood, etc.).
