Category Manager is required for a well-known FMCG company located in Cairo.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute annual brand plans aligned with business objectives.
- Own brand P&L and ensure delivery of revenue, volume, and profitability targets.
- Lead brand positioning and communication strategy across all channels.
- Drive integrated campaigns (TV, Digital, Social, In-store activations).
- Analyze market data (Nielsen / IQVIA) to identify growth opportunities.
- Lead innovation pipeline (new SKUs, flavors, packaging).
- Partner with Sales & Trade Marketing to ensure strong execution in-market.
- Monitor distribution, visibility, and shelf presence.
- Manage agencies (creative, media, digital) and campaign delivery.
- Track and optimize marketing spend and ROI.
- Conduct regular brand performance reviews and competitor analysis.
- Ensure alignment with the supply chain for demand planning and forecasting.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 5–8 years in Brand Management (FMCG – Beverage is a must).
- Proven track record in managing high-volume brands and innovation pipelines.
- Strong experience in ATL / BTL / TTL campaigns.
- Experience with Nielsen / market data analysis.
- Technical Competencies: Brand Equity Management, Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC), Consumer & Shopper Insights, and Financial Acumen (P&L understanding).
- Attributes: Strategic thinker with a consumer-obsessed mindset and high ownership & accountability.
