Planning Manager is Required for a multinational consultation company located in Cairo
Responsibilities:
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, earned value analysis, and schedule risk assessments.
- Participate in contractor meetings to validate progress claims, coordinate look-ahead schedules, and align activity sequencing.
- Support tender evaluations by analyzing contractor construction durations and resource planning submissions.
- Review contractor construction programs and ensure compliance with the overall project schedule.
- Report schedule impacts related to design changes, variation orders, or late deliverables to the Control Manager and client.
- Interface with design, procurement, construction, and cost control teams to ensure coordination of scheduling inputs and real-time updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement - in the construction and engineering sector.
- Experience in PM/CM and/or construction site experience
- Excellent communication and coordination skills. (English proficiency is a must)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Project, and procurement management systems(e.g., Aconex, SAP, Oracle).
- Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
