A multinational company is located in El Obour is hiring a Head of Corporate Affairs position


Job Description:
  • Works closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure that the ABC license to operate is always maintained
  • Oversees the implementation of the relevant CA action plan set in the relevant must-win battles
  • Ensures adherence to HEINEKEN crisis management and is responsible forupdating the crisis contacts regularly
  • Sets up the relevant action plans under each pillar of the CA Strategy to ensure the business objectives are met (communications, sustainability, government, and public affairs)
  • Develops the CA team into a strategic business enabler
  • Works closely with Legal to ensure awareness of and compliance withall applicable laws and regulations
  • Custodian of the corporate visual identity and oversees the compliance to its guidelines by all relevant stakeholders
  • Liaises with the Global and Regional teams to ensure alignment on plans and ongoing updates on results
  • Safeguards the company reputation by proactive mitigation and/or reactive measures vis a vis all stakeholders (all functions)
  • Assesses the suitability of different Global Projects and initiatives to local context and proposes relevant local solutions (labeling, harm reduction)
  • Sets up, manages, and updates different stakeholders (government, NGOs, media, agencies) proactively in order to call out for assistance as needed.
  • Seeks out new business possibilities and assists ABC in preserving goodwill with stakeholders.
  • Drives internal and external business communication while providing corporate advice to internal stakeholders with their projects.
  • Ensures that the corporate key messages are set up and oversees the training of relevant spokesperson/s on them
  • Strengthens employees’ advocacy to ensure wider communication of corporate projects and messages
  • Continuously communicates the corporate vitalmessages to stakeholders when and where relevant
  • Sets up plans to ensure employer brand is strengthened vis a vis the relevant external stakeholders in line with the company reputation results and the ABC priorities
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication
  • 12+ years of relevant experience, preferably in multinational FMCGs.
  • Excellent command of the English Language
  • ExSkills in Microsoft (Excel & PowerPoint) and Power Bi is a plus
