An international company is hiring a Head of Retail Category
Job Description:
Develop and run the business as an entrepreneur for our Retail category.
Responsible for leading the retail category cross country with full ownership of the P&L.
Modeling and evaluating the appropriate strategy to enter new cities.
Working in tandem with the marketing team for customer acquisition and to ensure hypergrowth of demand by executing brand promotion activities
Responsible for the growth and expansion of the retail vertical through existing business models and coming up with new business model ideas to reach the business objectives.
Maintain monthly business growth run rate, evaluate the leakages and solve the problem and grow the business.
Fully accountable for the retail customer experience, in conjunction with operations teams.
Liaison with multiple teams like- Tech, Product,and city ops team to execute the daily challenge
Qualifications:
Someone with a startup experience (preferably e-commerce). Preference to someone who owned a category P&L.
Experienced in the country transportation industry ( Private bus operators, Knowledge about regular transportation )
Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role.
Managed at least a team of 5 people
Highly analytical and excellent communicator.
Passionate and super driven
Great at stakeholder management and cross team collaboration
