A multinational company located in Heliopolis is hiring a Technical Sales Responsible – Heavy Equipment


Job Description:
  • Achieve sales targets within defined industrial sectors and extend range of products and services offering to end-customers.
  • Understand specific customer’s engineering and maintenance team’s needs, and support development of new systems/solutions
  • Organize trainings/orientation sessions to anchor customers about the companyproducts, solutions for different applications and proper maintenance practices.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of key market potentials and develop new business opportunities.
  • Maintain excellent relationship with end-customers within specific sectors and be the 1st level contact person for support.
  • Maintain all end-customer accounts within area of responsibility and define strategies for sales and profit growth.
  • Collaborate with Sales Manager to continuously improve sector/customer-based on sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with marketing team for all marketing related activities.
  • Cooperate with local distribution partners and system integrators within area of responsibility
  • Coordinate with local and overseas support teams and competence centers.
  • Coordinate retrofit/upgrade projects as assigned and directed by direct manager.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5-8 years professional experience within the heavy equipment sector, and preferably in related technical sales function
  • Strong Market knowledge within the heavy equipment sector in Egypt, e.g. construction machinery, bulk material handling, port cranes and marine equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and applications
  • Ability to handle technical and commercial topics.
  • Previous experience with ERP and CRM systems
  • Self-motivated and initiative.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Customer Oriented.
  • Team player.
  • Flexibility to travel inside & outside Egypt
  • Proficiency of English language.
  • Driver License is a must.
