A Financial Telecommunication Company located in Smart Village is hiring a Business Development Manager (Governmental Sector)


​Job Purpose:
  • Shows awareness of governmental markets and ensures up-to-date knowledge of competitors; Demonstrates an awareness of new business opportunities and seizes and acts upon them; Is aware of financial issues such as profits and losses.
  • Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new governmental markets
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Directs the business development activities of the organization and drives the new sales business for the company playing key role in the company’s bottom line.
  • Responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational Marketing and Customer Relationship activities.
  • Develop and manage annual business plans identifying key activities, priorities and risks.
  • Liaise with other executive heads on the implementation of the company’s strategic and operational plans.
  • Develop, review, and report on the business development division’s strategy, ensuring the strategic objectives are well understood and executed by the team.
  • Take ownership of the management of the sales and marketing functions of the business.
  • Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas.
  • Responsible for producing Business offers to customers in collaboration with other Sections Heads ( IT, Finance, Legal, etc..)to ensure profitability of the new businesses and minimization of risk for the company.
  • Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company`s ambitious growth.
  • Support the overall process of management and corporate decision-making to ensure the organization maximizes its short, medium and long-term profitability and shareholder returns
  • Working to stringent targets, the job holder will be required to adopt a professional and knowledgeable approach to each new business call.
  • Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new governmental markets.
  • Develop good community contacts among government, businesses, associations etc and represent the Company at public functions. To support ad-hoc events or projects in the community.
  • Maintain a perpetual analysis of competitor’s marketing and communication activities in the market. To have a thorough knowledge of competitive marketing, business strategies in Cairo and of competitive cities, destinations outside Egypt for specific business segments.
  • Maintaining accurate records of up to date marketing expenditures, future commitments and remaining budget for the year.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 15 years work experience, 5 of which in a Managerial position
  • Preferably an MBA in Marketing, International Marketing or Business Administration; Business Analysis Diploma is a plus.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles.
  • Banking Operation background.
  • Good reporting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills. Dynamic and creative.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business needs, financial reporting and productivity requirements.
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads.
  • Computer knowledge and management skills.
  • Project planning and implementations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business.
