A reputable company located in New Maadi is hiring a Senior U/G Systems Designer
Job Description:
Carry out and coordinate the design of Plant U/G systems, relevant 3D modeling, ISOs and MTOs management/ extraction.
Ensure timely reporting on engineering activities to the Civil Lead Engineer.
Ensure proper communication within civil team, with Process Department and other engineering disciplines (e.g. Piping, Electric, Instrumentation, Firefighting, etc.) for management of interfaces.
Review and apply Project specifications and standards.
Provide value engineering on design solutions to be hand over to Client
UG potential clash (new versus existing) problem solving
Meets quality and HSE objectives of the project
Prepare transfer dossiers (survey, quoted survey, isometric preparation, material take off) to other operating centers/Subcontractors for detail engineering.
Monitor design progress and ensure timely and qualitative preparation of project deliverables.
Assure that comments by other disciplines are incorporated in the design
Transmit comments to other disciplines.
Qualifications:
More than 8 years’ experience in U/G systems for Oil and Gas facilities 2D design (with Autocad and/or Microstation).
Experience in design solutions for the revamping of UG systems.
Experience in hydraulic calculation for gravity systems.
Capability to perform its work on time with the required quality level.
Capability to work in team, to ensure interface communication with other disciplines and to bring technical solutions to the project.
Capabilities in relationship and technical open mind.
Site activities experience (10 months as minimum).
Fluent in English.
Capability to work in international context.
Open to missions in engineering operating centers and/or construction sites.
Fluent in Italian and/or Spanish.
Knowledge of 3D modeling software for UG systems (SmartPlant3D, PDMS).
