A reputable company located in New Maadi is hiring a Senior Engineer for UG/AG Field Activities Supervision
Job Description:
- Carry out and coordinate the design of any kind of Plant structures and foundations and MTOs.
- Ensure timely reporting on engineering activities to the Civil Lead Engineer.
- Ensure proper communication within civil team and with other engineering disciplines (e.g. Piping, Stress, Electric, Instrumentation, etc.) for management of interfaces.
- Review and apply Project specifications and standards.
- Provide value engineering on design solutions provided by Clients upon coordination/communication within Civil Team.
- UG potential clash (new versus existing) problem solving .
- Meets quality and HSE objectives of the project.
- Prepare transfer dossiers (e.g. sketches/prospect views, 2d drawing, isometric line, surveys dossiers, “quoted” survey 2d drawings, preliminary take off according to Project price items) to other operating centers/Subcontractors for detail engineering.
- Monitor design progress and ensure timely and qualitative preparation of project deliverables.
- Assure that comments by other disciplines are incorporated in the design.
- Transmit comments to other disciplines.
Qualifications:
- More than 10 years’ experience in the design of UG systems and concrete/steel structures for Oil and Gas facilities (with Autocad and/or Microstation).
- Experience in design solutions for the revamping of UG systems, foundations and structures, both in concrete and steel; as minimum but not limited to additional support on concrete structures, foundation enlargements, steel structure revamping, new anchoring to be installed on existing facilities, monitoring settlement design to be installed, topographic survey requirements, shoring/protection solutions for excavations, grouting and fireproofing material knowledges, non-destructive controls and mix design knowledges.
- Site activities experience (#30 months as minimum).
- Capability to perform its work on time with the required quality level.
- Capability to work in team, to ensure interface communication with other disciplines and to bring technical solutions to the project.
- Capabilities in relationship and technical open mind.
- Fluent in English
- Capability to work in international context.
- Open to missions in engineering operating centers and/or construction sites.
- Fluent in Italian and/or Spanish.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software (Tekla, SP3D, PDMS).
