A multinational company located in Sheraton is hiring a Workshop Manager


Job Description:
  • Sets up of the workshop and implementation of system that will allow for both physical and system stock control, asset movement monitoring, and organized procurement
  • Organizes all equipment (storage, labelling, systematization)
  • Constantly reviews operation plan and tools/spares requirements for Russia /CIS projects (with Tool Manager Head of Department, Tool Manager Representative and Project Managers)
  • Assures that minimum stock requirements per quarter are set and orders placed in time for required tools and spares
  • Assures workshop HSE requirements are met
  • Assures administrative work on workshop rent, utilities management, part time hiring of lifting equipment, vehicles, manpower support
  • Controls and fulfills workshop budget maintenance
  • Assures that any tools/spares going From or incoming to the workshop passed quality tests and maintenance of Quality records
  • Assesses tool condition after run either directly by examining the tool or indirectly based on tool condition report received from Operations; submits tool condition reports to HO, requests spare parts if and as required.
  • Advises TM on required tools, equipment and documentation improvement
  • Ensures efficient utilization of tools & equipment
  • Ensures optimum tools & equipment condition by conducting regular maintenance activities
  • Controls spare parts and maintains minimum stock quantity in the territory store
  • Ensures tools and spare parts are stored in proper condition and in suitable environment
  • Ensures Operations supplies all runs reports to TM
  • Prepare list of tools and spares required for operation
  • Renders assistance to sales enquiries
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology, OR related degree
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a tool and production related role, ideally in the Oil & Gas Industry
  • Advance GMP training and implementation skills
  • Strong command of English And Arabic in addition to communication skills
  • Must be flexible with work hours & timings
  • KPIs:
    • Budget adherence
    • No. Of rejected outgoing tools/spares (not higher than 3%)
    • No of rejected incoming spares/tools (not higher than 3%)
    • Human /environmental accidents in workshop
    • Accomplishment of tasks in time
