A multinational company located in Sheraton is hiring an Engineering Manager
Job Description:
- Engineering Manager will manage the following departments: Research & Development, Design (hardware, software and firmware) and Production such that the highest level of quality and the quickest response time are reached to provide services to the market.
- The candidate will be responsible for sustaining the company’s technical competitive advantage by engaging and utilizing cutting edge technological advances.
- S/he is expected to lead by example and to stimulate his team’s creative thinking and to instill discipline, rigor and a mind-set of continuous improvement.
- The Engineering Manager will provide a seamless connection between both the Production and Operations Departments for the timely fabrication and preparation of equipment.
Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in a senior engineering and production management role preferably in oil and gas service sector
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing staff and developing staff
- Discipline: Mechanical / Electronics
- Prefer exposure to software design.
- Mechanical Fabrication proficiency is desirable
- Design: Understanding of “modular” design (electronic and mechanical)
- Proficiency in information technology (software, firmware and hardware)
- Preferred degree is Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Other Engineering disciplines also accepted such as: Electro-mechanical, Electrical, Electronics
- Good understanding of quality procedures and requirements, ISO and equivalent
- Managerial & Supervisory training will be a definite advantage
