Contract Manager is required for a multinational PMC Engineering company located in Cairo.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and finalize contract documentation in collaboration with procurement, QS, and legal teams.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, FIDIC or equivalent contracts, and client guidelines.
- Manage the contract change process, including assessment of variation orders, claims evaluation, and recommendations for approvals.
- Maintain comprehensive records of contract correspondence, notices, amendments, and approvals.
- Lead the review and validation of contractor claims, extension of time (EOT) requests, and other contractual submissions.
- Participate in contract negotiations, pre-award meetings, and final settlement discussions.
- Coordinate all contractual issues between the Client and Contractors.
- Prepare monthly contract status reports and support risk assessments.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in the construction and engineering sector; Experience in PM/CM roles and/or construction site operations.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of FIDIC and other standard forms of construction contracts; Experience handling contract claims, variation control, and dispute resolution.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement management systems (e.g., Aconex, SAP, Oracle).
