“Safety Section Head” is required in a well-known processing and manufacturing glass Company located in 10th of Ramadan City
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) aligned with industry best practices and company objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of QA professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Establish and enforce quality control procedures and standards across the product lifecycle—from raw materials to final shipment.
- Conduct regular internal audits, identify areas for improvement, and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure quality is embedded in product design and manufacturing processes.
- Oversee inspection and testing of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical), Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Excellent English language skills (written and spoken).
- 7–10 years of experience in EHS / Safety within a manufacturing environment, preferably in heavy industries such as glass, steel, chemicals, FMCG, or automotive.
- Proven experience in leading Safety teams, developing safety strategies, and enforcing compliance on the shop floor.
- Strong background in safety audits, inspections, and correcting unsafe conditions or behaviors.
- Proficiency in reporting, documentation, and maintaining safety records.
