“Costing section head” is required for a multinational fashion and apparel company located in 10th of Ramadan
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the costing team to ensure accurate and timely cost calculations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor cost accounting systems, documentation, and records.
- Prepare and review product costing reports, comparing standard and actual costs.
- Conduct variance analyses (materials, labor, overhead, production efficiency) and recommend corrective actions.
- Oversee the preparation of cost budgets, forecasts, and profitability reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and external regulations.
- Provide reliable cost data to support management in pricing and strategic decisions.
- Monitor inventory valuation, cost of goods sold, and stock reconciliations.
- Analyze cost drivers and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CMA or Cost & Budget Management certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience, including at least 7 years in manufacturing.
- Experience in the textile industry is a must.
- Strong user of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
