“Presales Chemical Engineer” is required for a Leading Trade Chemical Distributor Company located in Heliopolis.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Sales Representatives in all business sectors to support sales pitches with technical knowledge.
- Attend client meetings, both virtually and on-site, to assist in explaining product specifications, applications, and technical benefits.
- Customize technical presentations based on the client’s industry, processes, and pain points.
- Lead and supervise product trials at client facilities to ensure proper application and performance.
- Act as the main technical contact during the sales cycle for product-related questions and concerns.
- Respond to client objections or reservations with clear, data-backed explanations.
- Offer alternative solutions when required and ensure client satisfaction with technical responses.
- Assist the sales team in preparing technical proposals, datasheets, trial protocols, and material safety documentation.
- Support the customization of chemical solutions based on the customer’s production process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or chemistry.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Experience: Minimum 2– 4 years.
- Strong technical knowledge of chemical applications and industrial production processes.
- Ability to communicate complex information in a clear, client-friendly manner.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and customer-facing skills.
