"Data Integration Engineer" is required for a multinational Software Development company located in New Cairo.
Responsibilities:
- Capture and analyze ETL requirements from business and technical stakeholders.
- Design, develop, test, and support ETL/ELT workflows and pipelines using enterprise tools such as Informatica PowerCenter or BDM.
- Build processes to meet service-level agreements (SLAs) for data accuracy, timeliness, and refresh frequency.
- Develop metadata-driven and reusable data integration components.
- Optimize existing solutions for performance, including physical model tuning and SQL query optimization.
- Mentor and guide junior data integration team members on industry best practices.
- Document ETL design, data flow diagrams, and technical deliverables
- Participate in solution architecture design and provide input on database design decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Data Warehousing (DWH) and 3+ years in Data Engineering or ETL Development.
- Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica BDM is required.
- Strong SQL development skills and Shell scripting experience.
- Solid understanding of enterprise relational databases.
- Proficiency in working with Unix/Linux environments.
- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale ETL solutions.
