“Head of Operations” is required for a newly established insurance company in Egypt, launched by a leading multinational bank, located in Dokki.


Responsibilities:
  • Ensure full legal, regulatory, financial, tax, and fiduciary compliance for the Egypt Centre of Excellence.
  • Manage budgeting, financial control, and cost reporting.
  • Oversee HR, Learning & Development, Finance, and Admin functions to operate effectively and align with global standards.
  • Set up and maintain technical infrastructure for the Work from Anywhere (WFA) platform.
  • Ensure business continuity planning (BCP) is in place.
  • Address operational risks and requirements of the WFA model.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications to enhance employer branding and build external relationships.
  • Monitor employment market trends and provide strategic insights.
  • Maintain strong internal communication with business units and executive leadership.
  • Support and manage smooth transitions of roles to the WFA model.
  • Identify and drive best practices and lead special projects.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate degree in Business Management or Chartered Accountant qualification (preferred).
  • Fluency in Egypt is a Must.
  • 15–20 years of experience in the insurance industry is a Must.
  • Experience managing a small-to-medium international shared services entity in Egypt.
  • Strong understanding of fiduciary, legal, and regulatory aspects of shared services in Egypt.
  • Knowledge of insurance products, services, technologies, and operations.
