“Head of Operations” is required for a newly established insurance company in Egypt, launched by a leading multinational bank, located in Dokki.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure full legal, regulatory, financial, tax, and fiduciary compliance for the Egypt Centre of Excellence.
- Manage budgeting, financial control, and cost reporting.
- Oversee HR, Learning & Development, Finance, and Admin functions to operate effectively and align with global standards.
- Set up and maintain technical infrastructure for the Work from Anywhere (WFA) platform.
- Ensure business continuity planning (BCP) is in place.
- Address operational risks and requirements of the WFA model.
- Collaborate with Corporate Communications to enhance employer branding and build external relationships.
- Monitor employment market trends and provide strategic insights.
- Maintain strong internal communication with business units and executive leadership.
- Support and manage smooth transitions of roles to the WFA model.
- Identify and drive best practices and lead special projects.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree in Business Management or Chartered Accountant qualification (preferred).
- Fluency in Egypt is a Must.
- 15–20 years of experience in the insurance industry is a Must.
- Experience managing a small-to-medium international shared services entity in Egypt.
- Strong understanding of fiduciary, legal, and regulatory aspects of shared services in Egypt.
- Knowledge of insurance products, services, technologies, and operations.
