“Art Director” is required for an international advertising services company located in Cairo.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and directing the team, and being in charge of developing and maintaining the designers’ and animators’ skills while guiding/coaching them.
- Assigning team members to their daily tasks, solving any problems that appear during the day, and managing quality and productivity.
- Taking initiatives to uplift and improve the quality of our current clients’ creative output, and handling potential pitches by working on new art concepts/directions, giving the opportunity to all team members to be part of that.
- Developing presentation styles and techniques and training the team on them.
- Ensuring the team adheres to current processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and proposing and creating processes and tools to support design operations.
- Developing creative briefs based on ideas from brainstorming sessions, with direction, schedules, and deliverables for the creative team.
- Overseeing presentation of final concepts and coordinating production and dissemination for cross-organizational use.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Fine Art, Graphic Design, or a similar discipline.
- 5+ years of proven work experience in the same role.
- Solid knowledge of photography and video production.
- Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud and 2D.
