“Quality Assurance Engineer” required for a multinational Information Technology and Services company located in Heliopolis, Cairo.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functionality, performance, usability, and security.
- Craft test cases across various platforms and devices, leaving no stone unturned.
- Leverage automation tools (Selenium, etc.) to streamline testing efforts and maximize efficiency.
- Analyze test results meticulously, identifying bugs and inconsistencies with an unflinching eye.
- Report issues clearly and concisely, collaborating with developers to resolve them effectively.
- Champion continuous improvement, proactively identifying potential challenges and suggesting solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance quality and prevent future issues.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest QA methodologies and best practices, continuously elevating our testing approach.
- Foster a culture of quality within the team, encouraging ownership and collaboration.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or equivalent role.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, including Agile.
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to dissect issues and find solutions.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Keen attention to detail and a relentless commitment to quality.
- Passion for learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
