“Junior Data Tester” is required for a multinational software developments company located in Cairo
Responsibilities:
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate data across source and target systems.
- Perform basic ETL and data validation testing in staging and reporting environments.
- Assist in the preparation of test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Work closely with senior testers, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and support data testing tasks.
- Identify, document, and retest defects using tools like JIRA or similar.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups and sprint reviews, supporting continuous testing efforts.
- Maintain clear documentation of test results and data validation logs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in data testing or database QA.
- Strong hands-on skills in SQL (writing joins, aggregations, data comparisons, etc.).
- Understanding of basic Data Warehousing concepts, such as fact/dimension tables, data models, and ETL pipelines.
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
