“Sr. AR Accountant“ is required for a Multinational Electric Distribution Company located in Heliopolis.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce company SOPs for policies and procedures.
- Review, audit all revenue transactions & monitor the collection of cash and credit sales from debtors & ensure timely collection.
- Reconcile daily balances and transactions between the Mira system and Oracle ledgers.
- Review VAT for applicable sold items & stamped deferred invoices, ensuring seal conformity with contracts.
- Responsible for archiving and reviewing files related to debtor.
- Conduct customer visits for balance verification and confirmation & annual and surprise inventory audits for company-owned warehouses.
- Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) 15 and Expected Credit Loss (ECL).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce - Accounting is a must.
- Very good command of MS Office .
- Oracle & Mira background is a must.
- 3 to 5 years of experience.
