A Reputable Maritime Transportation company located in Suez is hiring a System Developer position
Job Description:
- Producing code using .NET Framework (C#, VB .NET).
- Upgrading, configuring, and debugging existing systems.
- Utilize established development tools, guidelines, and conventions including but not limited to ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#
- Prepare and maintain code for various .Net applications and resolve any defects in systems.
- Prepare test-based applications for various .Net applications.
- Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and identifying areas for modification and improvement
- Create technical specifications and test plans
- Monitor the everyday activities of the system and provide the required support.
- Handle Software development tasks within an agile environment (Scrum and Kanban).
- Handle existing software problems and carry out requested changes.
- Writing Documentation according to business needs.
- Analyze, Design, and Develop BIDatawarehouse-related enhancements
- Support BIDatawarehouse solution performance enhancements.
- Provide Power BI desktop & cloud platform, gateways & administration support, and expertise
- Produce and enhance reports & dashboards
- Provide technical input and effective data analysis to projects to support the achievement of deliverables to time and budget.
- Efficiently handle large sets of data and be able to process them into required formats confidently.
- Actively participate in our culture of continuous development and innovation by contributing ideas for new features and functionality
- Participate in the quality system and effectively apply the company’s procedures, policies, and practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT-related degree.
- Min. 3 years of development experience using .NET in a business applications environment. Deep understanding of OOP and OOD using C#.NET.
- Solid experience in web development using ASP.NET Core and Angular 9+ is a must.
- Good skills in HTML 5, CSS up to 4, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, SASS, LESS, and Responsive Design.
- Good understanding of the concepts related to Data Warehouse Modeling. Ability to convert from OLTP to OLAP schemas.
- Business Intelligence development using the Microsoft BI Stack (Power BI, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
- Excellent technical writing skills (documentation skills)
- Good skills in designing and working with Restful Web APIs area must.
- Work experience using EF Core and ADO.NET.
- Good understanding of architectural patterns.
- Having SQL skills is a must.
- Proficiency in C# programming language under ASP.net framework.
- Experience in developing ASP.NET MVC | ASP.NET Core MVC applications.
- Proficient knowledge of MSSQL server & DBMS tools.
- Understanding of HTML, JS, and CSS.
