An international company located in New Cairo is hiring a Senior Stock & Cost controller Accountant position
Job Description
- Review direct adjustment entries in Inventory Control Module for accuracy in the General ledger
- Prepare alist of outstanding items for review in the BSAM meeting
- Calculate new standard costs of raw materials
- Review monthly inventory reconciliation and reconcile buffer stock
- Verify receipts and confirm purchase contents and orders are complete
- Prepare, review, and analyze sales margin
- Manage allocation of budget across the department
- Check the cost of stock items regularly
- Ensure all transactions are done in line with existing procedures
- Prepare log for manual documents and submit for review
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of stock transactions
- Ensure correct status on clearing accounts throughout
- Prepare monthly Stock Balance Sheet
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance/Accounting, or something relevant
- At least 10 years of experience in the same field
- Professional experience in Accounts payable, Account Receivable, and Cost Accounting.
- Knowledge in ERP especially in Sage 300
- Advanced Microsoft especially in Excel
- Very good command ofEnglish
