An international company located in Heliopolis is hiring a Lead Structural Engineer position
Job Description
- Oversee the project’s concept design and initial specifications and manage to schedule, and estimating the full project plan.
- Draft and execute contracts, track project progress, and keep costs under control.
- Prepare user requirements, technical specifications, design specifications, and commissioning plans.
- Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved.
- Manage multiple projects planning and scheduling and keep projects on track.
- Manage resources between different projects.
- Provide engineering guidance to other departments, help to train new engineers, and keep abreast of industry trends and issues.
- Perform system repairs and oversee periodic inspection processes.
- Participate in project analysis, design, implementation, and commissioning phases.
- Provide support in system acceptance testing and validation activities.
- Use the BIM tools software for a high level of spot-checking and coordination.
- Respond to customer queries and concerns in a timely fashion.
- Schedule engineering meetings to discuss new ideas, issues, and project status.
- Work with the engineering team to oversee warranty reviews and product return reviews.
- Evaluate existing engineering processes and recommend improvements.
- Perform system failure analysis and provide corrective actions.
- Conduct strategic planning for the company.
- Lead whole departments.
- Present the company in front of the client
Qualifications:
- B.S. degree (Master’s preferred) in structural engineering or related field.
- 15+ years of experience.
- Ability to direct multiple projects at a time.
- Ability to work with various departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan.
- Working knowledge of current industry software, such as ETABS, RAM, Revit, AutoCAD, and other software.
- Professional work experience in developing blueprints and designs for proposed structures.
