A multinational company located in Sheraton is hiring a Mechanical Engineer position
Job Description:
- Technically competent and ableto use engineering judgment independently to determine solutions
- Prepare Design Drawings and calculations.
- Prepare Technical Reports and contractual documents of acceptable technical and presentational quality with minimum guidance.
- Understanding of mechanical engineering principles and their application in (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting) and pumping stations
- Receive on-the-job technical training through performing tasks with minimum supervision.
- Supporting and mentoring, with the possibility of formal line management responsibilities.
- Opportunity to present your project work at company meetings orconferences
- Produce hydraulic calculations for mechanical equipment, equipment datasheets/specifications, and schedules
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering
- 3 to 7 yearsexperience in handling intermediate and mega projects in the middle east region within a consultancy firm.
- Excellent command of the English language. (Writing and speaking)
- Software - AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, and Elite are essential and should have a working knowledge of 3D Models,etc, such as Navis works.
- Experience in producingdesign documentationand drawings, including pioneeringreports and specifications of mechanical systems.
- Experience in producing design calculations of mechanical systems for (HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting).
- Familiar with designingnational and international codes andstandards appropriate for (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting) industry.
- Conversant with various (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting) mechanical equipment
- General Arrangement drawings for piping and mechanical equipment. Isometric drawings. P&IDs, PFDs, etc.
- Experience working on MENA projects is a must.
