A multinational company located in Heliopolis is hiring a Legal & Compliance Manager position


Job Description:
  • Facilitate & supervise the attendance processes of court hearings and represent TMGT.
  • Manage all legal procedures of the companies strategically in the best interest of TMGT
  • Establish strong rapport with government and regulatory bodies, especially EFSA and relevant ministries.
  • Provide legal input for new contracts, agreements, procedures, and termination of contracts under consideration of all applicable laws.
  • Organize and maintain a register and samples of all legal agreements to which TMGT is a party of.
  • Organize General Assemblies and Board Meetings, handle all related procedures, and act as company secretary.
  • Monitor legal responsibilitiesfrom employment and agency relationships and introduce corrective action if required.
  • Establish compliance processes and reports in accordance with Egyptian laws & TMGT management directions.
  • Identify and assess compliance risks and introduce mitigation measures.
  • Advise all managers and staff atregular intervals on compliance-related laws and regulations, e.g., anti-harassment, anti-discrimination, anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, fraud, and privacy.
  • Review of local Operating guidelines, UW guidelines, approval requirements, and UW authorities by Local Compliance in coordination with Local Legal Counsel.
  • Manage the investigation of all compliance-related violations and allegations, report on the progress ofsuch investigations, and conclude every investigation with a final report.
  • Ensure the identification of potential conflicts of interest and supervise the development of remedial measures.
  • Ensure that significant compliance-related issues are reported to TMGT Management & BOD clearly and constructively.
  • Manage compliance training with all employees atregular intervals.
  • Annually assess all local legal and regulatory changes and update training programs respectively.
  • Coach, train, and technicalsupport team members to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  • Performing any other job assigned by the direct manager

Qualifications:
  • 15-20 years of experience.
  • University degree in Law.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Ability to self-motivate, to work independently and under pressure
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent leadership abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with various internal clients as well as external clients.
  • Very good time management and organization skills.
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills.
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written & spoken English and Arabic
