A multinational company located in Sheraton Heliopolis is hiring a Safety Officer
Job Description:
- Participate in developing the HSE policies and procedures.
- Ensure the identification and measurement of potential hazards and risks in offices and site work areas.
- Conduct and ensure risk assessment are implemented to all company activities.
- Ensure the implementation of precautions measures required for tools and machinery “used, handled and stored “.
- Conduct trainings related to safety including 10 safety rules, Safety induction, Job hazard analysis, Safe Work Method Statement “MWMS”, first aid, work place inspections...etc.”
- Ensuring the implementation of ISO standards requirements.
- Conducts periodic HSE inspections & audits in all the company work sites, warehouses and offices and submit reports related to these visits to the HSE Manager and concerned persons.
- Maintain and ensure the accurate HSE records are provided as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering (Preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or Science.
- 5 years of experience in the field of HSE.
- OSHA, IOSH and/or NEBOSH, NIOSH “Egypt”, certification required.
- Extensive knowledge of International and Local HSE laws.
- Computer literature.
- Ability to carry out assigned projects to their completion with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work independently with a multitude of tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form.
- Languages: Fluent English
