Expected Tasks for Temporary Administrative Staff
  • Receive and manage unit messages and correspondence
  • Provide administrative support for Unit’s communications activities
  • Handle scanning, copying, faxing and dissemination of documents
  • Maintain office filing systems
  • Update and maintain databases, including mailing lists, contact lists and client information
  • Retrieve information when needed
  • Coordinate and maintain staff administrative records
  • Type documents, reports and correspondence
  • Organize travel arrangements for staff
  • Coordinate and organize appointments and meetings
  • Assist with event planning and implementation
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies
  • Ensure proper maintenance and service of office equipment
  • Perform work related errands
  • Assist with media outreach efforts
